Why did Altantuya have to die? — The Malaysian Insider
APRIL 9 — Why. That is the start of many questions that have yet to be answered in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder trial.

The Shah Alam High Court today convicted two policemen for her October 2006 death. We now know the who, when, what, where and how of the entire murder. And now both Inspector Azilah Hadri and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar have a right to appeal the sentence which carries the mandatory death penalty.

The trial has ended but we still don't know the whys.

Why did the prosecution or defence not call the police aide to Datuk Seri Najib Razak who recommended the policemen to political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda?

That was the tenuous link the opposition have picked on to link the prime minister to the killing. There have been wild allegations that have even appeared in newspapers across the world, including statutory declarations and cautioned statements, that have haunted Najib since the beginning of the sensational case.

Why did Altantuya hound Abdul Razak? That she even risked coming to this country to meet him but to no avail.

Why didn't he just lodge a report for harassment? But went and asked a favour from a friend in the police force.

Why did the policemen commit the crime? She was an interpreter in a country far from home and surely no threat to anyone but she died a horrible death. Why?

Why did Abdul Razak's private investigator P. Balasubramaniam disappear after filing two statutory declarations that contradict each other? And why is he still missing?

All we know is that she is dead and two people have been convicted of her murder.

We also know the trial has broken records such as being the most number of days for hearing at 159 and the most number of witnesses at 84 during the prosecution case and just two during the defence stage.

And according to police records, Azilah has been detained in prison for 891 days and Sirul, for 895 days.

But in none of those days or from among the witnesses and the accused have any of these questions been asked and answered.

And that is really what it is about, why did Altantuya have to die?
Dari mula bicara hingga jatuh hukuman kelmarin ada siapa orang luar yang pernah tengok wajah dua 'kambing hitam 'ni ke?
Hitam betul ke, atau putih ke atau kelabu ke, tolong la beritahu. Takut nanti jumpa kat mana-mana lepas ni tak kenal pula.
Agak-agaknya bila nak saman Liberation tu macam KU Li pernah saman akhbar di Hong Kong pasal kes BMF dulu dan beliau menang, hal kes bunuh juga, Jalil Ibrahim Pegawai BMF yang di hantar sisat kes wang BMF. Ku Li saman pasal depa fitnah dan beliau menag , kerana beliau yakin beliau tak bersalah. Begitu juga kes TG DS haji Hadi saman akhbar di Britain , kata dia orang nombor dua alqaedah, beliau saman balik dan menang dalam saman itu serta akahbar tu minta maaf, dapat ratusan ribu, kerana belaiu yakin beliau tidak bersalah dan dibuktikan tidak bersalah. Kaedahnya senang, kalau tak bersalah dan yakin tak bersalah, maka kita saman la, tapi kalau tak yakin, tak taulah ana.
Mungkin lepas ni sahabat ana yang jaga KAGAT dulu tu boleh jawab dalam parlimen soalan yang mungkin akan dikemukakan oleh YB dari Kepala Batas.

Any way pasal kabinet baru tu ana nak ucapkan tahniah kepada sahabat ana dari kagat yang sama mengaji Maahad Mahmud Alor Setar dulu dan sama-sama dok melilau kat pondok belakang kedai kapoor tu harap jangan hanya jadi terompah kayu untuk dihandas oleh mereka sudahlah macam yang sudah-sudah tu.

Apa yang agak ajaib, dua-dua yang pegang agama di JPM tu adalah bekas anak murid Datuk Bakar Kassim di Maahad dan dua-dua ada persamaan, masuk ikut pintu belakang tanpa perlu ada pilihanraya, tu la untung jadi orang mengaji ugama, tak payah susah nak bertanding pilihanraya dan tak payah nak rebut jawatan dalam MT UMNO, buat habis duit juta-juta dan kena disiasat lembaga disiplin dan SPRM pulak tu, lepas tu menang ketua melepas pulak tak boleh jadi menteri, tapi kalau redha tak pe le, dah qada; dan Qadar Allah taala.
